Levin joined Maryland PIRG in August 2009 after graduating with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and Spanish from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. Levin completed Maryland PIRG’s two-year fellowship program in August 2011, during which she worked to win state protections from toxic chemicals. As the State Advocate, Levin leads campaigns on Toxics and Environmental Health, Making Healthcare Work, and Transit Not Traffic programs.
