Letter Dear Legislator, Our children deserve to be protected from dangerous chemicals that threaten their health and development. Unfortunately, many of our household products are laden with toxic chemicals. One such chemical, Bisphenol-A (BPA), mimics estrogen and is commonly found in baby bottles, sippy cups and food containers. Over 100 hundred studies in the last decade demonstrate that BPA is linked to adverse health effects such as breast and prostate cancer, early onset puberty, obesity and hyperactivity. I urge you to co-sponsor and support Senator Frosh's and Delegate Hubbard's bill to restrict BPA from children's products, including baby bottles and sippy cups.
