Tell the NRC what to include in their Analysis of Calvert Cliffs III
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is collecting public comments on what they should look at as they review the impact Constellation Energy's proposed nuclear power plant would have on Maryland. Please tell the NRC comments what factors they should consider. Comments are due April 4, 2008. Follow these 3 easy steps to help out.
1. Look over the message below, and feel free to add your own
comments. Using your own words makes the message more
meaningful.
2. Sign the letter by
filling in the form below. We will not share your information with anyone
else.
3. Click the button to
send your message. The environmental impact statement scoping process should factor in long-term and short term impacts of the proposed new reactor at Calvert Cliffs. I urge NRC to include researching alternatives to a new reactor, a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis, a study of high and low level radioactive waste, safety and emergency planning into it's environmental impact statement.
