Johanna Neumann, State Director
Johanna Neumann is the State Director for Maryland PIRG Foundation, responsible for program development, research and advocacy. Ms. Neumann received a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University in 2001 and graduated from Green Corps, the Field School for Environmental Organizing, in 2002. Prior to joining Maryland PIRG in 2006, Ms. Neumann worked with Toxics Action Center based in Boston and the Environmental Health Education Center at the University of Maryland School of Nursing to protect communities from toxic threats.
